Time to go
After her engineering studies, Ms. Eller joined a large company in the IT sector and was very happy for some time in her job in Business Intelligence. She really enjoyed the content of the job. But the annually changing bosses pursued different strategies, so there was little consistency. Ms. Eller also couldn't understand why she was passed over several times when the department head position was filled. Ms. Eller was working 'on her own', the mood in the team was getting worse and the changing bosses were unhappy that Ms. Eller did not immediately follow their ideas with enthusiasm. There was a separation meeting in the personnel department. Ms. Eller was blindsided, as she was - in her opinion - the pillar of the department! After consulting with her lawyer, Ms. Eller accepted the termination agreement, which also included the costs of outplacement counseling in addition to the severance pay. Ms. Eller came to me and made a very exhausted and depressed impression. She had not felt much joy in her job lately and on top of that was very depressed by the separation. In the joint coaching process we worked intensively on her biography. Step by step we worked out her strengths, defined the challenges she had already mastered, Ms. Eller presented projects she had already successfully implemented and formulated ideas she had not yet been able to implement in her previous work. In this way, we worked out her individual success positions step by step. In the course of this structured process, an individual profile tailored to Ms. Eller emerged as a result of the joint work, which was incorporated into her application documents, resume and cover letters. Through this joint active work, Ms. Eller developed new energy and creative power and prepared herself for the new upcoming task as project manager. She also completed a further training course on the subject of project management during the time she was on leave and dealt intensively with the subject of leadership skills. After sending out her application, Ms. Eller received a lot of positive feedback. She received many invitations for interviews and offers that matched her profile and objectives for the future job description. Ms. Eller also used the application phase for a personal project: she made her very private photo exhibition and thus fulfilled a heart's desire that she had wanted to put into practice for a long time. Today she is very successful and happy as a project manager.
