Week 36: Starting a new job vs. integration

Job search formerly on my own (Gerd) vs. NewPlacement coaching (Chris), both at the finish line.

Previously self-directed, since the 14th week in NewPlacement coaching: The perfectly prepared job start succeeds well. A good rapport is quickly established with the employees. The colleagues approach Gerd openly and are genuinely pleased about the newcomer. His cautious approach to external partners is rewarded with good press. To this day, Gerd is happy, satisfied and successful in his job.

NewPlacement coaching from the beginning: The proactive approach to the owner quickly shows results. Gradually, responsibilities are passed on to Chris. In particular, the questions in the Jour Fixe show the owner transparency and openness, even if one or the other is not yet running optimally. In the first few weeks, Chris exchanges ideas with his NewPlacement coach on Friday afternoons. However, these intervals then become longer and longer and are limited to moments when the meta-level is no longer accessible. To this day, Chris is happy, satisfied and successful in this job.

Our recommendations in this regard
71: The experience gained in the job acquisition and retention process continues to have an impact on leadership and performance well beyond the probationary period.
72: The NewPlacement-Coach proves his worth as a companion for all processes around the professional change with his view from the meta-level. Many candidates have already used this advantage for more than a decade.
