Week 34: Contract vs. job insurance

Job search formerly on my own (Gerd) vs. NewPlacement-Coaching (Chris).

Formerly self-directed: The contract corresponds to the agreements from the last interview. The start date is variable. Gerd signs and receives his version with the company's signature immediately. Now he consults with the coach for the exit from the current employment relationship. The coach had already prepared this. The talks go according to the strategy and Gerd is allowed to leave the company before the end of the notice period and receives a good reference.

NewPlacement-Coaching: The owner and the interim manager have agreed on an immediate separation. Therefore, Chris is supposed to start his job already next week. This leaves only a few days to recover and the planned vacation has to be postponed. In addition, the coach and Chris sat down for half a day to discuss the onboarding strategy and the quick integration within the scope of the job insurance.

Our recommendations in this regard
67: Your own exit from a new job during the probationary period should be done with a lot of tact. Especially when the first time together has started promisingly for the company. Separation without injury is an art in which the NewPlacement coach can contribute a lot due to his years of experience.
68: As a matter of principle, one should not start a new job without prior organizational setup (meta level) as well as onboarding and integration strategy.
