Week 21: Asssessment Center vs. anger works council

Job search formerly self-directed (ER) vs. NewPlacement coaching (NP).
  
Previously self-directed, since the 14th week in NewPlacement-Coaching: In the first highlight project, the HR manager insists on an assessment center (AC) by an HR consultancy/headhunter for whom he used to work. The NewPlacement coach fears a conflict of interest, which does occur. In the AC, ER is played up against the wall by every trick in the book. Afterwards, the HR consultancy offers to find a "better" candidate for a 5-digit fee and gets the job.
  
Since thebeginning of NewPlacement-Coaching: Since last week the relationship with the works council chairwoman has deteriorated drastically. Negative remarks from her are placed at every corner and edge. Even the owner has heard these disruptive noises. After consulting with the NewPlacement coach, NP recalls the familiarization formula of "Who with whom and why?" Confidentially, he learns from a works council representative that the works council chairwoman's husband is friends with the "counted" Direct Report.
 
Our recommendations in this regard:
41. projects, which came off by recommendation marketing without personnel consultation, can fail by the bringing in of a consultation with "search interest".
42. During the probationary period in particular, it is often not the negative content of comments made by colleagues that counts, but the intentions behind them. These must be addressed and, if necessary, refuted.
