Job search formerly self-directed (ER) vs. NewPlacement coaching (NP).
Previously self-directed, since the 14th week in NewPlacement-Coaching: The personal interviews with the headhunters go very well with the individual "success presentations". For passing on to the companies by the headhunter, individual short or detailed profiles are created together with the NewPlacement-Coach. This effort is rewarded with 3 invitations to companies. HE finds more and more pleasure in this "two-way" approach with the support of the matching and thus the headhunter.
Since the beginning of NewPlacement coaching: Direct Reports still have to get used to the advance agenda and its preparation. NP's predecessor preferred the small talk variety. The "internal job aspirant" refuses the agenda, whereupon the jour fixe with him is cancelled. By the end of the week, this decision has already had an effect. Several agenda items are registered for the Jour Fixe the following week. A strategy is already being developed with the NewPlacement coach for the joint Jour Fixe of all Direct Reports.
Our recommendations in this regard:
35. unsolicited applications to headhunters are too unspecific to be passed on to companies. For this reason, the short or detailed profile is always adapted after the personal interview with the headhunter. The findings from this interview and any persons involved on the company side are also taken into account.
36: Through 4-eye-jour fixes, overall jour fixes can be prepared very well. Common anti-attitudes are broken up and resurgence prevented by unexpected unequal treatment.
