Week 17: New start with headhunters vs. solution Jour Fixe

Self-directed job search (ER) vs. NewPlacement coaching (NP)
  
Initially on my own, since the 14th week in NewPlacement-Coaching (ER): Launching with the headhunters and spontaneous reactions, especially also from providers ER had never heard of, with interesting projects. Already in the first phone calls, ER is clearly more characterized by mutual matching and conveys the company benefits to the headhunters. This leads to the first invitations.
  
Since the beginning in NewPlacement-Coaching: NP and the coach discuss the defensiveness of the Direct Reports. The Jour Fixe becomes sporadic. Already the first 2-way conversations show that the "front" is not so hardened after all. Therefore NP and the coach plan a monthly overall Jour Fixe. From now on, an advance agenda will be introduced for all Jour Fixes, which will make it much easier to lead. In the weekly Jour Fixe with the owner, an agenda will also be introduced as a proposal with additions and subsequent short minutes. NP is aware that he is not allowed to use these documents for "training notes".
  
Our recommendations in this regard:
33.The professional applicant does not leave the matching to the headhunters alone, but argues himself in the company's interest. However, this requires extensive preparation with research into the actual demand factors for the occupation and functionality of the position to be filled. This is where the NewPlacement coach helps with his many years of coaching and management experience.
34. 360 degree "leadership" with the help of agenda and protocol is often underestimated. Especially the offer in leadership circles to take over the protocol has already helped many managers in their career. However, a sense of proportion and political understanding is essential and should be reflected upon in the early days with the NewPlacement coach.
