Separation (current company)
A difficult realization for affected individuals is the acceptance that the supervisor has the right to unilaterally request separation and can enforce it. Lawsuits for reinstatement of executives are supposed to improve the framework conditions of the separation. However, this can be achieved in a different and more forward-looking way. If, viewed from the meta-level, there is no longer any chance of a rescue, the "lever" should be turned: "How do we come apart in the style of the last successful years without damaging the company, image or the person concerned?" For this purpose, a separation package (departure, communication, severance pay, outplacement budget) must be put together by the superior in consultation with HR. Internal and external separation communication is often done out of "excitement" and harms all parties involved. If an external coach has not already been called in for the purpose of rescue, it is now high time to avoid irreversible results.
