After graduating from high school, studied business administration in Berlin and completed trainee program at Siemens AG (communications systems and networks). In each case, Berlin branch manager of a subsidiary of the Swedish Kinnevik Group (Tele2) with initial responsibility for personnel and then at GTS Esprit Telecom Deutschland GmbH (development of sales in the new German states). Changed to Colt Telecom GmbH, a leading provider of data, Internet and voice services, as Head of Sales and Member of the Executive Board. In 2002, took over as Head of Partner Sales B2B Region Northeast at Deutsche Telekom. After about 2 years, took over the corresponding national responsibility for 6 branches and about 100 employees. After another 2 years, moved to T-Systems Business Services GmbH, the network division of Deutsche Telekom AG for larger business customers, as Head of Sales Management and Business Development. Subsequently, assumption of management responsibility for sales and service control at C-level at Telekom Deutschland GmbH as part of the bundling of all mobile, fixed network and online activities for business customers in Germany. In 2015, followed the call of FORTINET Incorporation, the world's leading U.S. listed manufacturer of IT security products, to Global Account Management for Deutsche Telekom AG, which he enjoyed. Afterwards as NewPlacement-Coach in the international partnership under the umbrella of NewPlacement AG after personal training by the founder and CEO Hans-Christoph Nagel. Stefan Raatz is co-owner of NewPlacement AG and SeniorPartner.

Born, raised and rooted in Berlin, happily married to a tax consultant, proud father of two children. Fascinated by his own experiences running marathons (bites, lows, arrivals). Still a regular runner, skier and swimmer. Insights into foreign cultures during travels to Asia and often America. Enthusiastic about the American spirit in companies. Many years of experience coaching employees and managers, including at top levels. Supported the founding of start-ups, advised them and accompanied them on their way to commercial success.
