Week 14: Management Integral vs. Preparing to Start a Job

Previously self-directed: At the beginning of the week, coach and ER meet for the full-day Management Integral. The coach explores unsupported more than 100 performance, experience and competence values, which are even supplemented later on with support. Strengths, weaknesses and motivations are also assessed. Already at the end of the week, re-biography, utility analysis, goal setting, interview strategy and success database are discussed all day long, which the coach has prepared in the days in between. In the meantime, HE is mourning one or the other project, which he would have approached differently with the current set-up.

NewPlacement: Vacation. The application process has left its mark. After the contract is signed, many worries and hardships fall away. Nevertheless, NewPlacement coach and NP have discussed that after the vacation the tension has to come back and the application process will be continued with 360 degrees. Inspired by the NewPlacement coach's multi-page job insurance script, NP begins preparing for onboarding, 36-degree application and integration person- and subject-related research for the onboarding process with the internal and external interfaces after only a few days of vacation.

Our recommendations:
27.After signing the contract, we usually recommend taking 2-4 weeks off. The application process is a great physical and mental burden. This time sometimes has to be shortened by the short-term needs of the company. Then the job insurance must be integrated into the vacation.
28. Especially the (re-)biography can make many views and decisions of the counterparts in the application process, viewed from the meta-level, understandable for candidates who have acted on their own for a longer period of time.
