The headhunter has the important role of carrying out a confidential pre-selection (matching), sometimes without naming the company, and introducing suitable candidates to those responsible in the company. After the joint and successful pre-matching, the headhunter brings the two parties together and assumes the role of moderator. Especially during the covert search many suitable applicants fall by the wayside, as their intentions are also not public or should remain so for internal reasons (confidentiality, need & misery).
