After graduating from high school in Sauerland and studying social economics in Göttingen, he began his career in human resources at Alcatel SEL AG in Stuttgart and Hans Schwarzkopf GmbH in Hamburg with initial management responsibility. He then moved to debis Systemhaus in Aachen as Director of Human Resources with responsibility for 11 locations and personnel growth from 1,000 to 3,500 employees. Despite internal offer as Managing Director, founding of a start-up company (Upgrade AG) and assumption of board responsibility for Finance and Operations. End of 2002 change to Deutsche Bahn AG in Frankfurt a. Main for about 6 years in different management responsibilities at DB Systems GmbH, DB Telematik GmbH and DB Systel GmbH. After two years of self-employment as an HR consultant and headhunter, he took on two in-house mandates at TUIfly GmbH in Hanover-Langenhagen and Finanz Informatik GmbH & Co KG in Frankfurt a. Main. Subsequently self-employment as HR-Consultant and training as NewPlacement-Coach for C-Level, executives and specialists by the founder of NewPlacement AG. Christof Seltmann

I am a child of the baby boomer generation and was born in 1964 in Sauerland. During my professional career I have lived and worked in a wide variety of regions in Germany, from Hamburg to Munich, Aachen to Göttingen. For more than 15 years I have enjoyed living in Frankfurt am Main. I find it exciting and enriching to immerse myself in the regional characteristics and culture and to get to know new people. I love to travel and enjoy experiencing Germany's and Europe's culture in all its diversity, especially with my two almost grown daughters or friends.
