Consider informal connections
The informal connections of external partners (vitamin B) across the entire new company are often underestimated. As part of the job insurance with the NewPlacement coach, an appropriate strategy is developed to uncover these lines and plan the political handling. In the past, we have seen that the senior of a commercial cleaning company was friends with the senior of our candidate's new company. Strategically severing the relationship - to improve terms for the company - could have ended up costing the new job, as experienced in another case. If, for example, the executive no longer needs an external partner due to his own know-how, the latter will pull out all the stops to ensure that the employment is short-lived. Dealing with external partners is therefore highly political and must be approached with a great deal of diplomatic skill. It's good to have an experienced NewPlacement coach at your side.
