Born and raised in Cologne, I moved with my family to northern Germany at 14 and completed high school in Geesthacht, Schleswig-Holstein. I studied at the Technical University of Berlin and was a passionate handball and volleyball player during my school and university time. I took two years off my studies to run my own automobile workshop. My jobs in sales have enabled me to travel around to satisfy (and increase) my lively interest of the world. I am married since 1985, love cars and cooking, especially Asian and Italien cuisine, and also enjoy reading, filming and editing videos, and working on my house and garden.
