Anke Hopp completed professional training in bank management before receiving her master's degree in business management with a focus on work and organizational psychology from Kiel University. She has 13 years experience in HR and people management.
 She joined the Otto Group in 1996 and held positions in HR and as the head of the Otto call center in Hamburg before becoming the head of human resources and a member of the management board of the group subsidiary OFT (Otto Freizeit und Touristik GmbH), where she developed HR as holding function for various OFT subsidiaries. In this position she served as a consultant and coach for all managers, developed and implemented the seminar program, and had leadership responsibility for approx. 1000 employees in the group. Highly trained in application training, management coaching and communication management, she became an independent HR manager in 2008 and has been an HR process consultant, management coach and a lecturer at the HSBA (Hamburg School of Business Administration). She is also a trainer for a high ropes course. She trained as a NewPlacement coach with Gerd Löffler.
